Meet Deimante.

Meet Deimante.
Introducing Deimante Meilune. Photographer and Motorcycle Enthusiast from Essex, UK.
She's super excited to be one of the ATLAS Team Riders, and we're even more excited to introduce her...

Tell us about yourself. Where are you from, what do you do?

I am currently living in Essex and I ride. I work as a freelance photographer and motorcycle denim brand distributor in UK.I also have to admit, have so many other interests that one life is not enough! Learning, reading, fashion, a variety of sports, cooking, drawing, sewing, knitting, dancing, music, traveling and healthy living.

Now, let’s meet your bike, Introduce us!

I ride a Harley Davidson Sportster Iron named Sparrow and it’s my first bike. I already did 11k miles on it not commuting.

What’s your dream set up, or do you already have it?!

I don’t know yet, to be honest. I keep customising the way I like it, step by step, but don’t have a final vision yet. I like the changing process and enjoying it on the way.

What was it that drew you to biking?

My father was a biker when I was a child. Since I was always fascinated about the motorcycles, but never found a time or finance to start. I do regret sometimes I’ve missed so many years. However, I do believe everything happens for a reason when the time is right for it.

You’ve got an amazing following on Instagram. Where did the inspiration for your page come from?

My followers are my inspiration. When they send my a message that they passed the licence, or pictures of the bikes and rides and tells me my page inspired them I know I am making a clown of myself with a selfie stick on Harley Davidson for a reason. Hahaha!

One thing we’ve noticed is that you’re big into style AND safety. Why are these elements both so important to you?

I have a Degree in Fashion, wearing what expresses my style was always important to me. When I started riding I wanted my gear to be nothing less. I am glad that there is more and more stylish as well as technically clever designed gear on the market.

What were your thoughts when you first saw the Ruroc Atlas motorcycle helmet?

Can I say ‘Badass’ hahaha?!

Thats what I though when I saw Ruroc Atlas first. Was pleasantly surprised when I read the description and found about all the clever engineering what put this helmet on the ‘want it now’ list.

Which Atlas are you going for?

Atlas Sport Road is a perfection to me.

It’s almost time for launch, What are you most looking forward to with the Atlas?

It looks like a package of all the best. I can not wait to try it on the road.

What’s your favourite thing about riding?

That feeling when the engine, frame and wheels become something so much more, a part of you. When you don’t think of the road, just feel it with your heart. When the sound of the bike touch the soul and the wind in the face blows of the mind.

Do you have any advice for people new to biking, especially those who love your style?

Do your research, ask others, search for the best. Think that the right gear can save your life.

Good luck with that dude. I tried this several months ago and the response was "we can't distinguish between the Atlas and everything else. "Best you unsubscribe and resubscribe closer to the release date. " The Atlas is meant to ship December, and it's November. Not good... If you are like me, basically, it looks like you'll be oblivious to any news until it actually arrives... My Atlas is paid for. Poor show Ruroc.

Mine’s bought and paid for. At that time, 3 weeks ago, the estimated delivery time was the 5th April 2018. I keep checking in hope it will be earlier. I’m very exited.
